The tour will consist of 35 golfers, with the highest possible handicap allowed being 30. There will be 8 events with 2 of those events being tour majors.
POINTS
- Allotment of points is explained on the "tour" sub-heading. Each golfer will have to play in a minimum of 4 events or will lose their tour card.
- Golfers are welcomed and encouraged to play in as many events possible. With that being said, a golfer’s point total will only
consist of the top 4 event point totals to complete the golfer’s total tour points.
- Reminder that points are doubled at the 2 Majors.
Events
- ALL GOLFERS MUST COMPETE IN ATLEAST 1 OF THE FIRST 2 TOUR EVENTS, PAY THEIR TOUR FEE OF $60 (non-refundable) AT THE FIRST EVENT PLAYED, TO BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE THE TOUR FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. IF GOLFER DOES NOT DO SO, THEY ARE REMOVED FROM THE TOUR AND A GOLFER FROM THE WAITING LIST WILL BE SUBED IN TO TAKE OVER THAT SPOT. The golfer that has been cut has the right to be added to the bottom of the waiting list at that time for a chance at future
seasons.
- All golfers must send an email by the Sunday AT 6PM, of the prior week, to allow golf courses with the proper #’s for tee-offs. Example, Caradoc Sands April 21, email needs to be received no later than Sunday April 14 at 6pm. All courses have expressed an issue with this due to the fact that Sunday mornings at 9am are a prime time and they don’t want any spots to go to waste. Any emails after this time will not be accepted, (no exceptions).
- Any golfer that emails in a confirmation of an event and then fails to show for their assigned tee off time, will be penalized 50 points. A total of 3 different infractions within one season will result in the loss of the golfer’s tour card. The golfer that has been cut has the right to be added to the bottom of the waiting list at that time for a chance at future seasons.
- Tee off Times will be posted on the front page of the website before the Saturday of the event weekend.
- Golfers have provided a starting handicap that will be used for only the first 2 rounds “PLAYED” by the golfer and then the golfer will use the handicap generated for him by the tour. All Handicaps will be updated along with tour points totals on the website (http://svtc.weebly.com)
- All events on the tour will be won by net scores (100% Handicap)
- ALL TIES WILL SHARE POINT TOTALS FOR TOUR RESULTS WHILE THERE WILL BE A "SUDDEN DEATH" PUTT OFF ON THE PUTTING GREEN TO DECIDE AN EVENT CHAMPION. THE WINNER WILL COLLECT BOTH EVENT WINNINGS AND 1st PLACE POINTS WHILE THE LOSER OF THE PUT OFF WILL SETTLE FOR 2nd PLACE POINTS.
- Please play all rounds with the utmost honesty. NO GIMMIES, FOOT WEDGES, TIP UPS, AND PLAY ALL HAZARDS WHERE THEY ARE
MARKED. The competiveness of the tour is what will make it the most fun.
WINNINGS
- Tour event winner $60
- Belfor Cup Champion = $390
